Hello all.
I have created this blog as an online diary of what I have done since I have been in Thailand.
I started my journey on January 30th in which I went from Adelaide airport to Singapore and then went on to Bangkok. Since then I have met up with one of my netfriends and gone shopping quite alot.
Yesterday however we went to one of the parks here. The park (Which the name I will put in here when I can remember) was unlike any type of park that I have been to before. In it, a man made lake with all alot of what looked like catfish in it. Paddle boats that you can use to go accross the water. But the thing that I noticed more was that there were people exercising and groups of people just joining in. At one point there were so many people that had joined in that the whole path was covered (By the way, the path would be about 10 meters wide).
I have to say that I deeply respect the people in Thailand. When we left the park it was time for the Anthem, I don't know if it was the national one but when I looked around. Every person stood tall and didn't move. To have this level of commitment for their country is something that I have never experienced in my hometown of Adelaide.
I deeply respect the Thai people and I know that I am going to enjoy my stay here.
